Our aim is to deliver high quality risk-adjusted returns derived from investing in publicly listed companies operating in Emerging Markets. Since our inception in 2011, we have a proven investment track-record in navigating the inefficiencies and volatility in emerging markets.
The firm was founded by Ali Akay with backing from Blackstone, following a decade-long career as a portfolio manager at SAC, HBK and Goldman Sachs Principle Strategies. We have a qualified investment team comprising of 7 Emerging Markets professionals including on-the-ground presence in China and India, and a total staff strength of 13 employees.
Our investment team aims to generate absolute returns and alpha using the large dispersion that prevails in Emerging Markets equities. They invest in a universe of highly liquid companies that are unique stories, mispriced or offer secular growth in under-penetrated sectors.
